Brembo Max Front Disk Brake

This Brembo Max is the aftermarket version of direct replacement for Nabira factory fitted front disk. The disk comes with grooves on surface meant to improve grip.

The disk being paired with Ferodo disk pad.

However, i've installed the disk brake with Bendix Titanium "Metal King" instead of Ferodo.

This Bendix brake pads come with Titanium strip on the pad surface.

Replacement work was carried out at Ecotec, Sunway.

The stock front brake disk equipped with TRM lucas brake pad (2nd replacement done at 50k, the pad still has 50% thickness).

The Brembo max disk brake installed with Bilstein B4 strut and waiting for Bendix Titanium brake pads for the final touch.

Vauxhall VXR Locking Bolts

I bought these locking bolts from UK supplier thru e-bay for my CV. The locking bolts are OEM Vauxhall VXR with individual security number.

The lock bolt fits perfectly with BBS CV wheel..

Sound Damping on Door Panel

Nabira internal trimming is lacking in term of noise damping control. Therefore, several action can be taken to improve the condition by controlling vibration to panel, absorbed noise from the rattling panel or even block the noise by mean of installing barrier.

In order to reduce such noice, I opted to control vibration and adsorbed noise produce from the panel. From previous experience, the cabin noise increase during heavy downpour, travelling on concrete pavement, uneven road condition and speeding on highway.

There are many product available in market that offer solution for noise control such as Dynamat, Accumat, Autofoam, 3M, etc...Indeed, i've install Accumat Hyperflex by Scosche for mynabira door panels and i'm planning to apply the sound damping material on Roof panel, Rear Wheel Arc and Front Dash Lower Panel.

The installation for 4 doors panel required a total of 4 sheets of Accumat Hyperflex of size 24" x 26".

Steel Braided Brake Hose

Pro RS steel braided brake hose for front brake system. This brake hose has yet to installed, but i'm planning to get it done during my next visit to workshop. I will update later after complete the installation work.

Bilstein Front & Rear Shock Absorbers

Bilstein B4 shock absorbers are waiting to be installed. Current original GM shock is fast losing its effectiveness after approximately 4 years in service.

Front Shock Absorbers - Part No: F4-VNE-A660-BGC (Left) & -VNE-A661-BGC (Right)

Rear Shock Absorbers - Part No: F4-BNE-A662-BGC (Left & Right are common)

Both front and rear shock absorbers were finally installed at ecotec yesterday.

1. Removing the cowl top trim to get access to front strut mounting.

2. Front and Rear shock absorbers are ready to be replaced.

3. New Bilstein B4 after installation

Sprint Booster

Install a sprint booster, part no BDD251. The unit bought in Singapore.
Although there is no increase in hp, but throttle delay was reduced by amplifying the electrical signal from ECU to the throttle body. Thus, you'll feel the a sense of acceleration being improved.

Remus Muffler & Tailpipe

Stage 1 exhaust system upgrade. The factory fitted rear muffler looks OK, but rust is creeping. My option for upgrading my rear muffler is either supersprint or remus. In end, Remus is the choice of upgrading due to supersprint no longer do the Zafira A production.
Here is twin round 84mm diameter with laser etching remus logo marking..


No modification or welding required to fit in this remus muffler as this is a "plug & play" exhaust. Easy install...Flange connection and reuse gasket from the factory fitted muffler.

Large Air Intake with drop in K&N filter

The original astra MK4 and Vectra C air intake pipe with adapter..

Replace factory fitted standard air intake for nabira with a Vectra C air intake which is similar to Astra MK4...The new air intake has 13cm in the opening..

K&N drop in filter specifically for nabira/zafira, part no 33-3787.

The cleaning set consist of cleansing fluid & filter oil..
